Biography:
Carolyn Bennett (not the MP) is a writer and comedian. She has written for television (This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Air Farce, Chilly Beach, The NHL Awards) and has had two plays produced by CBC Radio. She has been a contributor to eye weekly, NOW, The Toronto Star, the Montreal Gazette, The National Post and the Toronto Star. Her play Runtkiller had a recent run at the Ohio Educational Theatre in Dayton. A touring comic for ten years, Bennett continues to make audiences laugh with her wit and wisdom and has a special fondness for benefit gigs. She has performed across Canada and was part of Comedy Night in Canada at the Just for Laughs festival.
A graduate of the Humber School for Writers, Bennett has just completed her first novel.
She is a smarty-pants with a warped and warm sensibility.
