Biography:
Jim McAleese is a 25-year veteran of stand-up comedy working nightclubs, colleges, and corporate events from coast to coast.
He has appeared on several television shows over the years including "Open Mike! With Mike Bullard", "Comedy at Club 54" and "Comics! On CBC".
Jim is also an accomplished actor appearing in several films and TV movies such as "Frequency" starring Dennis Quaid, Gene Wilder's "The Lady In Question", "Wild Card" and "Doc" starring Billy Ray Cyrus.
This season he appeared in the hit series "Corner Gas" and has become a very recognizable face due to his appearance in a popular TV ad for Aim-Trimark.
Jim has written for several award shows such as The Geminis, The Genies and The NHL Awards.
Jim's stand-up style is best described as "comfortable comedy" poking fun at the easiest target in the world - himself.
