Biography:
Ryan began telling jokes to his family members at the age of 10. At 17, he widened his audience as he began performing at the local comedy clubs.

Since then, Ryan has been nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award for best newcomer, and has made numerous TV and film appearances including a lead role on the YTV television series "Radio Active". Ryan joined forces with two fellow comics in 2002 to create the greatest 80's lip-synch rock band in the world, Never Surrender, touring fringe festivals across Canada and the USA. In 2003, Ryan won "The Homegrown Comic Competition" for his stand-up at the Just for Laughs comedy festival and was added to the "Talk of the Fest" show. In 2005, Ryan performed at Just for Laughs for the 5th time, appearing in the prestigious "New Faces of Comedy" showcase, as well as with Never Surrender in "The Stupidity Awards" hosted by Lewis Black.

He recently taped a half-hour stand-up special, "Comedy Now!", for CTV and The Comedy Network.
