In 2003, longtime friends and associates, Elliott Smith and Ian Quick, decided to team up and move their magic to the big stage.

With Smith’s loveable goofiness and Quick’s wit, they were immediately drawn to the vaudeville charm of a straight man and his bumbling partner. The duo of Smith & Quick was born.

Smith & Quick yearned to create a production that was unique, inventive, fun, imaginative and memorable. They were looking for something with both flash AND substance. The duo began work on creating a show that was unlike anything the world had ever seen or experienced.

Smith & Quick soon became a trio when master puppeteer, Matt Ficner, joined the group in 2004. Matt brought new and outstanding heights to the production to by adding elements of puppetry to the comedy/magic show. The "duo of three" was now a force to be reckoned with!
